YHFG senior staff completes 3-day refresher training in project and financial management. Facilitated by a chartered accountant with several years of experience in project and financial management, Mr. Emmanuel Sorogo took the staff through topics such as key processes and requirements of project management; planning for project time and cost; managing project risks, communication and change control; budgeting and budgetary controls; monitoring and evaluation; managing procurement; internal controls; ethics and managing fraud and, managing audit and financial reviews among others. The post-training evaluation showed an enhanced understanding and skills in project and financial management. We are ready for the next challenge! The training was funded by RFSU (Sweden) as part of the Youth Body Rights Advocacy project.
