Collaborating with the Ghana Education Service by engaging schools in the annual “I Can Do Anything” sports tournament was a real success. As a youth focus organisation, promoting enrollment and retention of children in school is key and the shift from club based to school based is a good tool to promoting education and we look forward to a more successful tournament next year. The heads of schools, sports teachers, teams and the entire students were full of energy participating in the sports tournament. Timothy Alouh who is the District superintendent in charge of supervision and monitoring of the District Education office expressed his joy and thanked YHFG for collaborating with GES in promoting education through sports and pledged their continuous support in subsequent years. Thanks to the Kuntinkantan Foundation for making the annual sports tournament a possibility. YHFG and the youth of Upper East Region are grateful.
